Once a freelance writer wannabe, I published a few things here and there, but lately find myself wishing I’d recorded more of my pieces in a place where they might be seen by others. Why? Validation, perhaps. But most likely for the simple satisfaction of knowing that I discovered something in my mind or conscious and had the guts to pour it out. From there I can choose to watch it live or die in the form of approval or rejection, or I can simply turn my back on it and let fate have its way.

So that’s why I’m here. You’ll find pieces that were written for magazines, newspapers, online blogs, book submissions, public speeches, or maybe just personal essays. Some may be brand new, some a little old, some may be ancient. Some were inspired by events, others simply by a ripple in the stream of consciousness. I think some of them are okay in conveying the message that I was trying to send, while some fell utterly flat. Whatever the reason for writing them in the first place, I wouldn’t have done so if there wasn’t some amount of personal significance to it. Whatever your reason for joining me, welcome.
